Heartsaver CPR/AED
Who should take this class:
Teachers (clear credentials), summer camp counselors, coaches, foster care, social workers, maritime (US Coast Guard approved) nannies, parents, grandparents, babysitters (ten years or older), construction, acupuncture students (approved by State of CA Acupuncture Board), & general workplace. This class does NOT include First-aid.
 
CPR4Life certification class covers CPR for infants, children, & adults, choke-saving, and how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator). This course is for renewing, recertification, or initial students.
 
Course Length: 3hrs
Class Price: $60 +  Card
Certification Card: American    Heart Association (valid 2 years). As of 11/2017 ($17 each) this is in addition to the cost of the course.

Student workbook included.

Who should NOT take this CPR class. Medical or healthcare professionals must register for the BLS CPR class. Childcare providers who need EMSA certification must take a Pediatric First-aid/CPR course.

Payments can be made by

BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare
Who should take this BLS course:
Doctors, nurses, nursing students, CNAs, nursing assistants, dentists (CE credits provided by CA Dental Board), physical therapists, physician assistants, medical assistants, massage therapists, EMTs, paramedics, phlebotomists, lifeguards, fire fighters, medical & healthcare professionals & anyone going into the medical or healthcare field.
 
Course Length: 2.5-3 hrs
Class Price: $60 + card
(You are required to have the current textbook for this course.

Recertification Course length: 2.5-3 hrs

Certification Cards: American Heart Association (valid 2 years) 
 
Teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for applications in both in and out of hospital settings. Added emphasis on team resuscitation. Focus on the critical concepts of high quality CPR. At the end of class you will have a skills assessment and written test.
 
Payments are made at sign-up by credit card. Cash or credit card day of class for late sign-ups if openings.

Who should take this CPR & First-aid class:

Who should take this First-aid class:
Teachers, summer camp counselors, coaches, social workers, maritime (US Coast Guard approved) nannies, parents, grandparents, babysitters (ten years or older), construction, general workplace.
 
Course Length: 2-3 hours
Class Price: $45 + Cert. Card $17
Payment can be made by credit card or paypal online.
Certification: American Heart Association (valid 2 years)
 
This AHA  First-aid class covers the following topics: bleeding control, seizures, epi pen use, allergic reactions, snake bites, broken bones, poisoning, and other life threatening emergencies. This course is for renewing, recertification, or initial student and is considered a basic first-aid class.
 
Who should NOT take this First-aid training
Childcare providers who need EMSA certification must take the Pediatric First-aid/CPR class.
 
Student workbook included.

Payment can be made by cash or credit card day of class.
